The cascading clematis vine makes the most elegant statement! I am in love with this arbor setup. I also love how the sun is in the right spot for an afternoon wedding. Since the sun will be heading down behind the arbor, you will avoid most of harsh shadows and squinting that would happen if the sun were going the other direction.

Sarah was hiding behind the large barn doors for her grand entrance to the ceremony. William had the sweetest reaction!

Annnnnd they’re official! Time to celebrate!

We began their portraits soon after the ceremony, and of course we had to take advantage of Layz S Ranch’s beautiful arbor as much as we could!

The reception room is the perfect amount of light and airy! The copious amount of windows allow more than enough natural lighting for that romantic, airy feel.

Of course we couldn’t resist a fairytale twirl! As soon as the guests were all heading over to the section where the first dance was going to be taking place, we had to take advantage! This room was just begging to be twirled in!

Now we moved on to the formal dances. I love the moment at the end where William spun Sarah around and around!

The reception was a lively celebration filled with laughter and dancing. Family and friends gathered to toast the newlyweds, and the dance floor was the center of attention as guests danced the night away.

William and Sarah snuck out of the reception for a few minutes to take advantage of the glowing Palmyra, Virginia sunset. I always recommend that couples sneak out, even if for just a few minutes to ensure that they get that soft sunset glow in their photos!
