Yes! You are more than welcome to bring your furry friends. I do recommend that you bring someone along who can help watch them.

I love to focus on capturing moments that warm your heart. If you are looking for stiff and perfect poses, I may not be the right photographer for you. I love documenting your laughter, hugs, and even the silly moments. I completely understand the chaotic craziness of toddlers and young children, so I know that asking them to sit still in complicated poses is not realistic for them!

I have a private field that I use in Dinwiddie, VA for almost all of my sessions. It has been handpicked by me personally, selected because it offers beautiful light, scenery, and is a location without distractions or other visitors.

However, if you have a different location in mind, I am always open to discuss whatever you would prefer!

It’s a universal truth that kids are unpredictable (and they’re more unpredictable than usual when photos are involved!) I’ve seen it all when it comes to kids, and my best piece of advice is that no matter how your kids are behaving, parents should be upbeat, positive, and have fun. Your mood is contagious, and if you have fun your kids will too! Scolding and threats never go over well (I’m a fan of bribery instead - everyone gets ice cream after!) so make the most of your time together.
